This is DST Step 4 — a turning point in your journey.

In this deeply experiential training, we move from somatic dialogue into supportive, embodied contact. You’ll learn how to listen with your hands, how to connect without overwhelming, and how to offer touch that supports the body’s natural process of healing. You’ll practice working with both yourself and others, expanding your capacity to feel, follow, and respond with clarity and care.

This training is not about fixing. It’s about listening. It’s about following what’s alive — and learning how to meet it with presence.

What You’ll Experience

Over four rich, integrative days, we explore:

Day 1: Connecting — From Dialogue to Touch

• Building safety and resourcing through contact

• Learning to connect with presence, not pressure

• Knowing when to stay in dialogue and when to support silence

• Recognizing the difference between relaxation and dissociation

• Making contact that supports true comfort

Day 2: Listening — Mapping the Body Through the Hands

• Using the hands to assess tone, coherence, and energy

• Mapping tension, resilience, and flow across the body

• Learning the role of the three main diaphragms

• Supporting the head with gentle cranial contact

• Developing intuitive sensitivity to tissues, fluids, and energetic patterns

Day 3: Following — Deepening the Process

• Practicing dynamic listening and tissue tracking

• Beginning two-hand contact through the Stepping Stones approach

• Working with comfort, discomfort, and the neutral zone

• Supporting each client’s unique expression of healing

• Closing sessions with integration and forward movement
